Ballymore Stables, founded in 1982 by Hall of Fame trainer Mike Moroney, has long been synonymous with producing elite racehorses and achieving Group 1 success. Today, that legacy continues under the guidance of Pam Gerard, whose passion and commitment are driving Ballymore Racing into an exciting new era.

After more than a decade training in partnership with Mike, Pam stepped into the spotlight in July 2024, taking over the New Zealand arm of the business and launching Ballymore Racing. Her leadership was immediately felt with the success of Savaglee, winner of the 2000 Guineas, marking a bold beginning for the stable’s new chapter.

Pam was instrumental in developing top-tier horses such as Roch ‘N’ Horse, Tofane, Arrogant, and On The Rocks, delivering Group 1 performances on both sides of the Tasman. Now, with a clear focus on excellence and a hands-on approach, Pam and her dedicated team uphold the highest standards......letting the horses do the talking on the track.
