Mark Pegus is now using Prism to manage all the facets of his stable.  He is now using the award-winning platform to manage the operations, communications and finances of the MAP Racing team.

The Pegus name has been a staple in Australian racing for the past 5 decades.  The son of jockey and trainer Anthony “Tassie” Pegus, Mark has been around horses all his life.  He started working at the family dairy farm in Cohuna, later working for his father after his father’s first starter “Importance” won at Ararat.

Since then, Mark was hooked.  At 21, he started his jockey apprenticeship with Austey Coffey and then with Russell Cameron.  He went on to ride for 20 years, riding close to 1000 winners in Australia, Malaysia, Macau and Mauritius.  

Mark’s jockey career has allowed him to learn the craft of training winning horses.  He took out his trainer’s license in 2019 and has since trained full-time.
