Founded by Wes and Sally Ballantine and Guyan and Marlo Stroud, Thompson Creek Thoroughbreds is a family-owned thoroughbred business specializing in agistment and broodmare management.  The founders have a deep-rooted passion for horses and racing. Wes and Marlo’s father Derek was a leading owner and Stud Master for four decades.  Located just outside Geelong at Glentree South, the property has been proven to be an ideal environment for older horses, yearlings, broodmares, foals and weanlings.  With its sandy loam soil, rich pastures, high grade fencing and experienced staff, Thompson Creek is a spelling and breeding destination without compromise.
